Unconfirmed Covid rumours as Zimbabwe's Zemura miss heavy loss to Manchester City

HARARE – Zimbabwe defender Jardan Zemura (pictured) missed Bournemouth’s 4-0 thrashing at champions Manchester City on Saturday after unconfirmed rumours he might have tested positive for coronavirus.

Bournemouth were promoted into the English Premier League for this new season after a hugely impressive Championship season in which 22-year-old roving left-back Zemura played a key role.

IIkay Gundogan, Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden scored for Manchester City while Jefferson Lerma turned into his own net to complete the rout of Bournemouth at the Etihad.
