Tino Kadewere shakes off injury, scores on debut in Spain for Real Mallorca

HARARE – Tino Kadewere has scored on his debut for Spanish La Liga club Real Mallorca after the Zimbabwean netted in a Copa Del Rey clash with CD Autol on Saturday.

Mallorca thrashed the lower leagues side CD Autol 6-0, with Warriors striker Kadewere scoring the sixth goal in the rout.

It was 26-year-old Kadewere’s first match for Mallorca after his maiden appearance was delayed by injury since arriving on loan from French side Lyon in September.

The Copa Del Rey is Spain’s oldest football competition, one of the most prestigious national cup trophies in the world, up there with England’s FA Cup.
